International company, producing tin cans for food industry, part of an international group with another 6 factories in Spain; one of the 3 main players on the market, the plant in the Netherlands brings 25% of Group turnover).

Location

Horst – small city close to Germany, 50-60 km from Eindhoven

Candidates’ requirements

• Technicians, not engineers – flat structure, limited/no possibilities for career growth
• Technical education
• Couple of years of experience in maintenance as mechanics/electricians in a production factory and with strong skills
• Experience from food industry is a plus (99% of clients), but not a must
• Proper English – to understand and to be able to ask and explain, incl. technical terminology
• EU citizenship is needed
• Work on shifts (1st, 2nd, night, 3 weeks rotation – 1 shift/week)
• Age – 25-40, but not a limit

Offer

• Labour contract directly with the client
• Long term contract (1 year), starts with 6 months contract; if performing well after first year – permanent contract
• Salary Technicians: EUR 2,982 gross / EUR 2,335 net
• Salary Electricians Responsible EUR 2,982 – 3,330 gross / EUR 2,355 – 2,515 net
• Holiday allowance 8% on yearly basis
• Work only Mon-Fri, in shifts (incl. night shifts)
• Work during weekends is considered as overtime and always agreed with the employee; is related mainly to regular maintenance of machines, can happen quite frequently – 2-3 weekends/month
• Available canteen with free drinks, but meals at work are paid by employee
• Vacation – 25 days
• Health insurance not provided – to be covered by candidates, ~EUR 100 / month
• Accommodation and relocation package not provided – flights and accommodation are covered by candidates
• EUR 450-700 for temporary/permanent housing, depending on own preferences – alone, shared house, etc.
• Transportation – will need own car unless leaving close to the factory (in Horst)
• Transportation allowance – if leaving at > 10 km distance, EUR 0.19 /km for up to 35 km in one direction
